Always meet face to face - bring someone with you and meet in a public place. If a seller comes to your home or workplace, ask someone to accompany you and ask the buyer for ID.
Never send or wire money to someone you don't know or trust.
Always inspect the item before agreeing to a sale.
Use common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
We believe these forms of money transfer are favored by fraudsters, so don't take the risk.
